INSPECTION
Fire alarm and security systems are commissioned to protect your property from extensive damage caused by fire and / or vandalism. Unfortunately, these systems are often neglected. If properly inspected, tested, and maintained, it is possible to get many more years out of a system.
Fire alarm systems all have different requirements for testing according to specific manufacturer’s recommendations as well as pre-set sensitivity levels in the smoke detectors. All fire alarm systems require a minimum of an annual functional test and depending on your industry, local code enforcement agency, insurer, or corporate risk policies, a more frequent system test and inspection program may be required. Our employees have many certifications, however the certification that is most recognized for testing and maintenance of fire alarm systems is the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies. NICET is the national organization for certification in engineering technologies.
DOCUMENTATION
Esscoe utilizes the Building Reports system for documentation. Our technicians scan the bar code for each device and input the part number, location, and zone ensuring complete information for the system appears on the test report. Once the inspection is complete and the data is uploaded to our redundant servers, customers can remotely access their report. We provide a professionally produced, easily distributable document with a full audit trail on your inspection indicating what was tested, when it was tested, the functional test performed, and a concise easy to read executive summary with pertinent NFPA 72 code citations for any discovered deficiencies. Four our Healthcare Clientele, we provide this same report, in the format required by the Joint Commission on healthcare accreditation listing all of the elements of performance (EP) for the environment of care (EC) criteria applicable to your facility. We do so much more than the electronic service of the system; we provide you an electronic, simple way to manage all of your documentation online. From open work orders, closed work orders, invoicing and scheduling of routine maintenance and emergency service repairs it’s available to you 24×7 online, just like we are.

24/7 FIRE ALARM SYSTEM SERVICE
We service all manufacturers’ equipment regardless of vintage, including GE, Notifier, Simplex, Siemens, Firelite, Dukane and ValCom. Our technicians are NICET certified in Fire Alarm Systems and trained at United Technologies factory. Other optional services we offer are CCTV system maintenance, access control systems, intrusion systems, intelligibility testing, video conferencing and professional sound and paging system service.
